Why we like it

Knight Shield's smooth perimeter and 3-80 weight distribution make it a brick. The Needle bit locks down center stage, so you can absorb Dran Sword rushes and let recoil push attackers out instead.

Launch & setup tips

1. Aim for a flat, no-bank launch so the Needle tip plants immediately—any tilt reduces its defensive wall.
2. If you expect rail rushers, slide-shoot from the outer pocket so you meet them head-on with Shield's thickest section.
3. Click the ratchet back into place between rounds; the 3-80 teeth are durable but still benefit from manual checks.

Upgrade paths + combos

• Add the 4-80 ratchet from Wizard Arrow to widen coverage and improve late-game stamina.
• Use the Ball bit when you need the combo to double as a stamina closer.
• Pair the blade with Hells Scythe's Taper bit for a counter-punching defense build that can chase along the rail.
